HR and Finance Manager
I have been at the Centre since January 2006, I was the 3rd member of staff employed and started at the Centre as PA to the Director, during the course of the first couple of months also took on the HR function. During that year we gradually recruited more staff and then along with Adi Himpson I took on the challenges of organising the move to the new building in Keble Road in January 2007, which involved lots of hard work and late nights! My role is now HR and Finance Manager.
I previously worked in retail and industry in accounting and administration roles. I hold a part qualification (level 2) in CIMA which I undertook whilst working as an Assistant Accountant at Hytec Information Systems, after being made redundant from there quickly discovered that I wanted to work in Administration, with a particular preference for HR, my original training back in the days of the abacus was Payroll. I am now studying for a degree in HR and hope to follow this with an MBA.
